NTG EAP
Northern Territory Government Employee Assistance Program
We are an approved panel provider of FREE counselling and therapy services to all NTG employees and their immediate families.
CONFIDENTIALITY – except where legislation and safety are a concern, this service has strict confidentiality processes. You can be assured that use of your EAP remains completely private with no identifying information shared with your workplace.
ELIGIBILITY – the current EBA outlines reasonably broad eligibility criteria as to ‘immeadiate family’.

Rebates
Medicare Better Access Initiative
You may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan; talk to your GP about being able to access up to 10 counselling session rebates of $85.20 per year.
Private Health Insurance
You may be able to claim rebates on counselling sessions if you have certain extras in your insurance, depending on the insurance company's conditions.
Additional Services
Marriage Preparation Course and Early Marriage Coaching
$650 (consisting of initial phone calls with each partner, one hour facilitator preparation time, three facilitated sessions, workbook, handouts, relevant pages of the questionnaire results, certificate of attendance and the $46 online questionnaire fee are included)
Walk and Talk Therapy, Online and Phone Counselling and Animal Inclusive Therapy
Rates apply as above dependant on if attending as an individual, couple or family.
Separation and Divorce Consultations
Fees are dependant on the number of sessions and the individuals who are involved, however they are based on the Individuals, Couples and Families rates. Please speak with Rebecca about your situation.
Late Notice / Cancellation Fee
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for all rescheduling and cancellations. Less than 24 hours notice may result in the full fee needing to be paid before any further sessions are booked or attended.
A strict policy is carried out for the following:
- 'No Shows' not attending and without any notice
- Saturdays and Public Holidays
- Weekdays from 3pm
In these cases, an invoice of the full fee will be issued and if not paid within 48 hours of the next booked appointment, that appointment and any further will be cancelled. Once payment has been received, counselling sessions can resume. If any of these cases occur multiple times, upfront payment may be required at the time of appointment booking.
